[ let's say that today masamune felt like eating ramen on a whim, because... you know, he followed quite a few whims. which is why he finds himself at a certain ramen restaurant around the corner of his and kojuro's apartment, sans one kojuro due to... scheduling errors.

but he's here nonetheless, blending in and looking out of place with a casual t-shirt, jeans and... eyepatch?

well, whatever.

he's got a bowl of ramen and he's just enjoying it for now, minding his own business. ]

[ masamune's used to having good times. parties, don't you know. he's really good at partying.

in fact, you might say it's very hard to ruin him when he gets partying. especially at a bar, where the partying's pretty crazy (he'll proclaim in english and remind you of this fact), and the company is usually too drunk (or equally crazy, in motochika's case) to be anything but fun.

and then you have mitsunari.

mitsunari was very good at certain things. he was.... very good at being a twig. he was... very good at acting peeved, especially when doing activities like breathing and existing in general. he was very good at... not partying.

so while masamune's very good at partying, he finds it's very hard to party when he ends up near Ishida Mitsunari, who's so angry it's amusing sometimes, though most of the time he's so angry it's annoying.

maybe he should switch stools. ]

... Kinda surprised you ended up here too. [ or maybe make conversation, because he kind of can't resist picking on ishida a little bit. ]

[Yukimura places a sweet smelling solution in tupperware.]

I am sure Professor Shingen will like my science project!

[As he places the tupperware in the refrigerator, he just remembers something!]

Ah! I cannot believe I have forgotten something so important! I forgot to put the laundry up!

[And there he goes... to put the laundry up.]

[ you know what's great? deals. deals are great, especially when they end in good things for both sides... though he only really cares because mutual profit meant things were less likely to explode in hanbei's face.

right now, though? he's not too sure what matsunaga hisahide wants from him ( or the toyotomi, to be more accurate. ), considering they've already struck their deal. though he has an inkling, artifact-loving as matsunaga is. ]

You want something more, Hisahide-dono? [ hands behind his back, all pleasant. ]

[ there are a couple of things in life that hanbei enjoys for the pure sake of enjoyment. reviewing strategies, observing (to-be-conquered) scenery... and tea ceremonies. perhaps it's because he can make some sort of progress in things with the aforementioned tasks, especially considering hideyoshi's purposes for tea ceremonies...

which is maybe part of the only reason he's capable of teaching the customs of it, for all its length. for a rushed man, hanbei is a surprisingly patient one--which is why he's not annoyed at having to explain complexities. another reason might be the identity of the recipient, who's rather capable in his own right.

his student? one ishida mitsunari. which is perhaps special all in itself. the tearoom is... quiet, given it's just two in the room. ]

I trust you're prepared, Mitsunari-kun. [ which is kind of a silly question, but he asks it just to start things off. ]
