FOR CAITIE | couldn't throw away my selfish pride.
[ it was fun, to say the least, having another kojuro here--there were similarities and differences; interesting, that's what masamune would call him. not that he was surprised by this certain conclusion. if this man was truly anything like the kojuro he knew, "interesting" wouldn't be describing even half of him.
of course, there were things about this kojuro that amused masamune far more than they should. the outright outbursts seemed to have lessened, somewhat, and he had to note that this one was perhaps a bit more... subdued than the other.
though maybe that wasn't accurate.
still, it's for that very reason that masamune doesn't really expect much of anything when he slides the door open; there's a rather extravagant looking haori on his shoulders, along with a whole lot of embellishments and maybe a bit of fur.
needless to say... he looks ridiculous to normal eyes. ]

He has never approved of this Masamune's manner of dress since the moment he met him but this was ridiculous even for him. Kojuro had given up on trying to get him to dress more sensibly over-all but this had to be an exception.]

which is why he's not at all affected by that outburst of surprise. instead, he's completely nonchalant! he's practically shrugging when he speaks next. ]
Somewhere important. No harm in showing off a bit! [ because this is totally what you wear when you're going somewhere important. he adjusts the haori a bit and the fur on his shoulders to emphasize his ~uncaring~ (and a bit unimpressed) behaviour. ] I need you to take care of the castle.
[ we're not discussing the wardrobe, in other words. ]
