it's been over for a while, actually. little musings were done and all the illusions she's conjured up for the sake of the audience were all but fragments, once again. it's the same as always--perform, applause, and bow, but now the show is over and she's back to the mundane, hanging upside down on a low tightrope while humming obscure melodies under her breath.

the lights are still on but dimmed, and there are a bunch of feathers on the ground from the birds she took out of some guy's ear. that was fun, maybe.

but now it's over and she's almost bored, in the center ring of the empty area. ]

Assuming that's a concern for me.

[ she's almost surprised, but her default setting was always on "you're watched, be watched", so the feeling is almost natural. she swings herself into an upright position. it's her years and years of practice that allow her to stand up with ease.

maybe it's polite to stand up when talking to people. but really, she just wants to get a better look. ]

[ predators are automatically drawn to motion. he watches with interest as she swings herself onto that rope again, drawing up memories of how she did the same thing during the performance. it's honestly very graceful.

[ oh. that makes her want to laugh. she does let a chuckle out, against her will--the entire thing was a little bit more playful than she would've expected. she places a bit of pressure at her feet, and the tightrope returns that force in turn.

[ the way he says this is as much of a warning as it is a playful continuation of their banter. he sees the pressure before she enacts it, watches her bounce on the tightrope. ]
