one hand gets brought up to his chin. hm. let's think about this. what would be a good order... nothing dangerous but clearly something she wouldn't choose to do.]
Muzét. Do a handstand, and continue to do so until told otherwise.
[a shock is going to go through her. she's probably been summoned before and ordered before. how much she has to obey the commands depends on the summoner; with weak summons she's merely present and can pretty much do whatever she wants; with stronger ones there's a ... compulsion, but one that can sometimes be ignored or put off if it conflicts with her own wishes (to a degree - she couldn't do things like 'attack her summoner' outside of the summoning pact being broken by ordering her to do something obviously self-destructive, like immolating herself.
and even then it can be iffy, depending on the circumstances and need. generally more "important" orders (say, "go fight this monster") are harder to counteract than more "trivial" orders (say, "do a handstand".)
what happens now should be deeply concerning to muzét, because he has given her an extremely trivial and nearly pointless order, and not only does she feel compelled to do it... like, it is a definite for real compulsion. this is stronger than when many summoners have told her to do actual important things - like not just physical compulsion but some level of mental compulsion too, like it's difficult to even think about anything other than "doing a handstand and holding it" being pretty much the most important thing in the world right now.
for the part of her that is not concerned with "need to do a handstand right now", this should confirm something. prior to this, there were two options:
a] he was the world's laziest, most incompetent summoner, which would explain the lack of preparation, no magic circle, no chanting, no candles, etc. any order would have been easy to ignore and she could have done whatever she wanted until the summon duration ended.
b] he was an extremely powerful summoner, which explains the lack of and means she's here until dispelled and he has an incredible amount of control.
who knows which one she was hoping for, but it turns out it is very definitely b.]

[ she'd been about to ask for some kind of confirmation there (what a ridiculous order), but she's already very much feeling the confirmation. this isn't like any of her previous unworthy, silly summoners--this was some kind of world-saving handstand, an actual legitimate order.
it's only due to her own strength that there's a pause between hiro telling her what to do and her actually doing it, and the parts of her that aim to fulfill his pointless wish fight her every second of that pause. it's at that moment that muzét really realizes... this wasn't just some half-hearted, silly human. this was a legitimate devil summoner. a legitimate... shin megami tensei protagonist.
sure, there's no cool cape or suave face on some incredibly strong looking individual, but those are the facts. so, she lets go. not that she wasn't very close to breaking in the first place.
because she was. still, though, hiro gets to witness this: a 21 year old super powerful devil woman, at first flying upright but then--flip. there's the shuffle of of fabric as she moves into a mid-air handstand, the front two trains of her dress flopping right... into her face.
then she settles down to the ground until her hands touch the floor, though she's still supporting herself, somewhat, with flight.
and she sighs. the compulsions are quieter now that she's fulfilling his commands, so she speaks: ]
My. How undignified. [ and of course, as ordered, she continues with her--his-- handstand. she won't pretend to have a choice there. ] Couldn't you have asked for something simpler? A destroyed building, some teleportation...
It'll hurt me if my master uses me as some kind of toy, you know.
[ she's joking, but there's that hint of acknowledgment. he isn't like anyone whom she's met previously. this is someone she wouldn't mind following. ]

I really don't want the police here, so no building explosions. But if you insist...
[oh no, what is he making her do. he hasn't made her do anything too awful yet - a handstand is the least of her problems, right? but at the same time that's worrying because if most summoners had said that they would have, if they'd really wanted her to do that, exert a ton of force of will. with him it was... just a comment and she had to follow.
(it does feel kinda nice, though. weird. is the summoning process supposed to have a pleasurable aspect to it?)]
The teleportation we can do. Can you teleport yourself a skirt, or a shorter dress? It looks silly covering your face.
[... but he's still smiling. this is kind of fun. and she's got personality! not that all demons don't have personality, but some of them are really boring. "I WANNA KILL STUFF" no, not now. "BUT KILL" no. naw, hiro doesn't play that. he's summoned all sorts of things though - this just happened to be a new and exciting option.
maybe they can hang out more! you know, if she doesn't mind the 'has to do what she's told' thing. which, with the whole dropping the master line first thing, seems like she's pretty okay with that. like they could hang out even if he didn't summon her. which is pretty cool in his book.
he didn't respond to the dignity bit. maybe dignity is overrated. maybe he's just proving a point. maybe she's just providing the fanservice today.]
