FOR KIMI | treasure trading.
[ you know what's great? deals. deals are great, especially when they end in good things for both sides... though he only really cares because mutual profit meant things were less likely to explode in hanbei's face.
right now, though? he's not too sure what matsunaga hisahide wants from him ( or the toyotomi, to be more accurate. ), considering they've already struck their deal. though he has an inkling, artifact-loving as matsunaga is. ]
You want something more, Hisahide-dono? [ hands behind his back, all pleasant. ]

You want something more, Hisahide-dono? [ hands behind his back, all pleasant. ]

[Hisahide caresses each syllable as it leaves his mouth. It's clear that it's an artifact that is known only by the Toyotomi and yet here is this man demanding it.]
I have no doubt that you know of the existence of this blade and to deny it would be fruitless on your part.
no subject
... no, it's more like he's amused that he'd ask for something as big as that. ] ... Certainly a bold request.
no subject
[He already gets enough enjoyment from being able to play with Katakura Kojuro, but there's no need to let the tactician know that. He might as well milk the deal for all it is worth.]
Greater treasures await Hideyoshi Toyotomi. What is one blade, or two compared to the horizon in your gaze?
no subject
[ well, he can't quite deny that. when weighing hideyoshi's ambition and the blades, the former's much heavier.
but it's still not an offer he can rush through. usually he's the one making conditions. ]
And you believe what I set out for you to do is equivalent to such a thing?
no subject
[Hisahide's getting bored here, Takenaka Hanbei's so troublesome to deal with. But Hisahide is a man of patience, despite being a man of his whims. All those yummy artifacts in the Toyotomi treasury. Hanbei should be thankful that Hisahide picked a rather tame item by his standards.]

Is that all?
no subject
[Chuckle. He just wants those blades. They would make excellent additions to his collection. He has time to raid the stores of the Toyotomi at a later date.]
no subject
lightheartedly: ] It's for that very reason I would hate to spoil you.

Is something wrong?

[He gives Hanbei a smile, the kind of smile that speaks volumes about what he's thinking at the moment. Yes what he said was true but at the same time, he knows that it ruffled your feathers. But not like he's going to admit it actually ruffled your feathers.]
no subject
[ . . . hanbei is going to ignore attempts at picking at his patience. or. well. at least try to ignore those things.
he'll let hisahide have his fun. ]
But this is the Toyotomi army, Hisahide-dono. [ a return smile. ] I hope you didn't expect anything else.
no subject
Expectations do not breed actual practice, in most instances. This world has disappointed me time and time again.
[There it is, that glint in his eyes again. It seems to be amusement but then again, you never really know with him.]
Perhaps... then I can bring myself to raise my expectations, Takenaka.
no subject
There is no need to concern yourself. [ he tilts his head downwards, slightly. not a bow at all. ] The Toyotomi will reshape that world.
