[Hisahide caresses each syllable as it leaves his mouth. It's clear that it's an artifact that is known only by the Toyotomi and yet here is this man demanding it.]

Tokuzen-in Sadamune? [ slightly curious. he's not disputing the blade's existence--he's not silly, and trying to fight against hisahide in this department would be silly. and a waste of time for both of them.

[ if hanbei wasn't short on time, this entire thing would be simple. matsunaga hisahide was a bit of an unpredictable thing, sometimes, and hanbei didn't quite like dealing with unpredictable things. though he could respect that. ]

[Getting under people's skin: It's what he does best. You should know that by now, Hanbei. He is of course, the person who showed the barest amount of mercy to Hideyoshi all those years ago because Keiji Maeda was being an annoyance.]

Expectations do not breed actual practice, in most instances. This world has disappointed me time and time again.

[There it is, that glint in his eyes again. It seems to be amusement but then again, you never really know with him.]
