[ there's something about a paper telling you you're the ruler of the world that makes things a little weird. he'd played around with this stuff before when he was young, sure, but he'd never thought it would actually happen. kind of like he didn't expect axel to be along for the ride too.

that's besides the point, though. the point now was that he was here now, in Who Knows land, where he's holed up in an office and being declared their new ruler just because he stuck his hand in a box and came up lucky.

so... does that mean he's like king mickey now? ]

You know... [ he's in the comfy spinny office chair, legs tucked and looking like the most mature ruler, as he spins... spins... spins... before finally stopping in axel's direction. ] I kinda expected a "better luck next time" instead.

[ okay, it's a joke. he's saying this lightheartedly as he spins around again, and... stop. it's really the only thing he knows how to do in this position.

You don't think they're serious-serious... right?

[insinerating]

Nah, haven't got any luck to spare.

[He shrugs. Couldn't even get that 'winner' popsicle stick.]

I sure hope not! With you as our leader, I'd have to consider relocating.

[He says that casually, like it's totally an option.]

[keystroke]

Yeah, well. I'd move too, if you were the one who got picked.

[ or maybe not, but he needs to defend himself somehow. and that seems like the best way to do it.

leaning back now, arms behind his head. ]

Maybe it's lucky you didn't get it, though. That means not having to explain that they've got the wrong person.
